September Morns at Schoepfle Garden

Say Hello Again to Schoepfle this fall.  A great time to visit the garden is first thing after the gates open at 8am every day.  September can still have plenty of hot days like this week but also cool mornings as fall begins to creep in and you can walk around forever in blue jeans.  The wildlife is still active and a rabbit or chipmunk may scurry away from your path.  The Morningside’s sun’s early rays dance off the seed pods and colorful petals and soon the leaves all around the garden.  Today in the garden you can see roses (none crackling as far as I know), angel’s trumpet, goldenrod, canna, mums, annuals and the first autumn crocus popping up.

My apologies to Neil Diamond, I am just a  Solitary Man with a song sung blue.
