Spring sightings at Schoepfle

April showers are already bringing the flowers as we have a fast start to the warming season.  In the garden you will find daffodils, hyacinth, grape hyacinth, Lenten rose, primrose, forsythia, magnolias and the cornelian cherry dogwood.  Also found a stray tulip with a start to color, but our tulips in general are still a little ways off.  In the woods you may see toadshade, spring beauty, lesser celandine, and bloodroot, but we are a few weeks away from a full spring bloom in the valley.
