‘Engineering from Animals: The Science of Biomimicry’ public program

During this month’s Interactive Video Distance Learning (IVDL) public program (Wednesday June, 12th), we’ll be “virtually visiting” and speaking with the Minnesota Zoo staff to see and learn about the amazing ways that wildlife survive & thrive in the natural world. We’ll discuss how we humans get some helpful & cool ideas from animals to benefit & enhance our lives, and we’ll participate in a hands-on activity. After visiting with the Minnesota Zoo, we will do a kid-friendly craft! Program will be held at the Carlisle Visitor Center in the Carlisle Room from 2:00-3:00pm. All ages welcome!
