Bluebird Trails in Metro Parks Fledge 221 Bluebirds in 2012

Congratulations to the Black River Audubon Society which monitors 22 Bluebird Trails throughout Lorain County with 14 of the trails within the Metro Parks. The totals are in and the number of Eastern Bluebirds fledged, (birds leaving the nest) from the Audubons bluebird house monitoring program was 365 fledglings, 221 fledglings were from houses throughout the many Metro Parks Reservations. Black River Audubon is searching for interested persons to assist with the monitoring program in 2013. th
