What’s on the menu?

Not being able to order pizza or shop at Trader Joe’s, hawks, falcons, and other birds of prey rely on their specialized predatory adaptations to find, capture, and consume their prey.  However, when they can no longer hunt successfully, and thus live, in the wild, like our Raptor Center birds, what and how do they eat?  Join a Naturalist to learn and see first-hand how & what we feed our hawks, falcons, bald eagle, and turkey vulture.  This ‘Birds of Prey Feeding’ program will be held at the Carlisle Visitor Center, in the Raptor Center courtyard, from 10:00-11:00am tomorrow/on Saturday 19th.

Come meet our male peregrine falcon, Havoc, and our other Raptor Center residents!
