Formed in February 2005 under the vision of Pipe Major Emeritus Scott MacLeod, the Black Bear Caledonia Pipe Band has been performing throughout the greater Cleveland area ever since. The band has participated in numerous community parades and festivals as well as local church and school events. The main objective of the BBCPB is to promote the sights and sounds of Scottish piping and drumming through performances and teaching while providing a place for enthusiastic pipers and drummers to perform. The focus within Black Bear is always on the music and the camaraderie of working and playing together. Wednesday, December 19 at 7:30 pm, they will be performing at the Carlisle Visitor Center as part of our ongoing Holiday Lights program. Their performance is FREE, and will include a mix of holiday tunes and more traditional scottish performances. Click here for more information on the band. You will not want to miss such an unique performance!
