Still time to see fall!

There are still many signs of fall around us even if you are done raking for the year. Some trees, like oaks, are still clinging to many of their leaves. Beech trees retain many leaves throughout the winter providing a safe haven for the wildlife. Others are still in the process of dropping their foliage, like the Dawn Redwood at Schoepfle Garden. Its needles turn a rusty orange-brown before dropping late in the season. With a warm weekend predicted, visit a park looking for the signs of fall, including Schoepfle Garden on Sunday November 11th at 2pm for a house and garden tour where we will see the amazing garden and home Mr. Schoepfle left us.
