Hypertufa Pots

In a recent program at Miller Nature Preserve, participants were instructed in the making of hypertufa pots.  This is an inexpensive substitute for expensive patio planters.  All participants went home with a pot they had made.

If you would like to see examples of hypertufa pots, stop by the seasonal display at the Conservatory through Nov. 4th.  If you would like to own a pot, the ones in the display will be items in a silent auction during the Tailgate Party on Nov. 4 beginning at 12:30 at Miller Nature Preserve.  Make your reservations by 10/29.   The cost for members is $5 and for nonmembers is $10.
